Champion of patients

The public pays for the NHS, and patients deserve to be involved of the way that services are delivered. Our patients are our customers, and we are passionate about reaching out to patients of all backgrounds, to engage with them and to encourage them to get the most from their local NHS.

Pride in our people

Our patients expect clinical excellence and - crucially - so do our staff. We are committed to the professional development of all our clinical and administrative teams. Our employees have the opportunity to progress within primary care or to develop more specialist skills to move into Community Outpatients or Dentistry. For example, we have trained nurses to become managers, we have trained Receptionists to become Healthcare Assistants, and we trained Doctors to become GP Trainers and GPs with Special Interests.

Pride in our service

We are very proud of the continued improvements in standards we achieve together as a team and with our patients. Since we have been running GP surgeries, we have developed more effective pathways in chronic disease management, in screening for cancers and protecting against illness. We actively encourage healthier lifestyles via our free weight management programmes and relationships with local leisure centres. We always provide a quick and convenient service for patients, be it for a repeat prescription, an orthodontic appointment or a dermatological procedure.
